The Animal Trust group is about to open its eighth not-for-profit veterinary surgery.
Animal Trust Birkenhead is set to open on 29 July – two years after the nearby sister Ellesmere Port surgery opened its doors.
Additionally, a ninth surgery is scheduled to open in Wrexham, north Wales, on 5 August to replace the Vets4Pets practice that closed earlier this year.

The group does not charge consultation fees.
A spokesman said: “Animal Trust was set up as a not-for-profit organisation with the sole purpose of focusing on the welfare of animals and not making a profit.
“All consultations with a vet are completely free of charge and everyone is welcome to register as there is no qualifying criteria to meet.”
Since the first not-for-profit surgery opened in 2012, Animal Trust says it has treated more than 43,000 animals.
Fully inclusive
Animal Trust group founder Owen Monie said: “What makes Animal Trust different is we offer fully inclusive, upfront pricing and free consultations to everyone because we believe all pets should have access to a high standard of care, regardless of an owner’s income or location.”
The Birkenhead and Wrexham premises will join Dewsbury, West Yorkshire, in being launched in 2019.
